Drake Shoots New Music Video In Toronto
After winning his first Grammy on Sunday, Drake released a new video that, once again, proves he is one of the city’s best ambassadors.
“Started From The Bottom,” a single from the upcoming album Nothing Was The Same, opens with a slow-motion shot of boys sprinting across a soccer field. At the centre of the field, painted into the grass, is the logo for “Toronto Parks, Forestry & Recreation.”

Techno
Tech house is a subgenre of house music that mixes elements of techno with house music. Rick Ross
Rick Ross lives in his own personal time zone, and when you're around him, you're subject to it. Though I do notice a strange lull in the house, a subtle shift in metabolic state. Ross's bodyguard, a gentle-looking man with sleepy eyes who is nearly seven feet tall, lopes through the kitchen still wearing this strange headset that makes him look like he's getting translation at the U.N. General Assembly. Darren, a kid from Milwaukee, is still in the basement, editing what must be just server-melting amounts of Rick Ross video. I confuse two of the other guys who work for Ross—one's name is Red and the other's is Black, and I think Red wears a black hat. One of them is stripping the tobacco out of several packs of grape Swisher Sweets and then reassembling them into precise blunts.

The pair, despite being close friends and stalwarts in the Toronto electronic music scene for years, had not joined forces in the studio until only as recently as 2009, when Damian Lazarus called on them to remix Riz MC for his prestigious Crosstown Rebels Label. The result was an entirely new sound that drew cues from the best of both artists.
